Aquarius continues to play a pivotal role within our current astrological world. The January 21st New Moon in Aquarius occurred just over six months ago. Every year, the Aquarius New Moon activates an important theme of initiation for the coming year. This process comes full circle six months later with the Aquarius Full Moon, which we’re experiencing now. Working with this principle, it’s always interesting to map the Aquarius Full Moon in order to observe how the powerful originating Aquarian energies are being fulfilled.

Last January our Aquarius New Moon showed us an alternative way to face unexpected circumstances in order to sustain and maximize our forward momentum. That Aquarian Moon offered each of us the opportunity to free ourselves from our old habits and expectations in order to face the unexpected in new ways.

As I write Issue no. 7 of the Journal, I can’t help but notice the incredible progress that is currently being made. It may not always be readily visible, but the shift in consciousness can be seen in many ways, including the amount of disclosure that is occurring.

Our Aquarian Age shift is planet-wide and it’s unavoidable. It’s changing the very fabric of life in which we have all been raised. As we’ve discussed in previous issues, one of the most exciting changes we’re about to experience is a new age of technology, including quantum computing, medical advancements, new financial systems, and new energy paradigms.

The recent synchronicities of support through our astrological energies are not coincidence or happenstance. These are a coordinated approach of evolutionary changes that are coming to our planet. In the past we have all referenced the “coming age of enlightenment.” That Age is here now. We are now in the middle of the spiritual and physical transition to a new evolutionary way of being.

Our Taurus New Moon is helping us see the Aquarian Age shift more clearly, and with new understandings based on maintaining perspective without distortion.

As an earth sign, Taurus brings a practical energy that is focused on what is real, what is good, and what has the ability to sustain us over time. Taurus is filled with appreciation. It recognizes the beauty of the natural world. Its love for nature allows us to understand the deeper mysteries of life itself.

The practical nature of Taurus appreciates what is real. It doesn’t like distortion. One of the exciting new elements of the Aquarian Age are our new perspectives and understandings of how the shadow has worked to distort our perceptions and undermine what can clearly be seen once we have sufficient light.

As the ruler of Aquarius, Uranus often indicates major shifts. Since the last New Moon, Uranus has moved to the 19th degree of Taurus. The 19th degree of every zodiac sign represents a new quality of self mastery. Uranus’ movement indicates that a major positive shift is about to take place. In Taurus this Uranian shift means that what was previously introduced as pure potential in the 16th degree, and integrated in the 18th degree, can now be turned into the opportunity for a new level of mastery.
