Our Virgo New Moon is stimulating a rise in worldwide awareness through a spiritual jump in consciousness. This is a momentous rise that represents a direct shift in human evolution. On the personal level, what this means for each of us is that we’ll be able to more easily see the shifts as they are occurring.
 
It’s important to remember that we are in the midst of extraordinary times in world history. The shifts we speak of are related to the coming Aquarian Age, as well as larger Cosmic cycles that are also converging. Because this is unprecedented, there is no way to foresee what and how world events will unfold. We are beginning, however, to see the tell-tail signs of these major shifts from our first-hand vantage point.

Our Aquarius Full Moon is the most powerful of our current year. There has been a tremendous amount of momentum building toward this Full Moon, beginning six months ago with the Aquarius New Moon which occurred on January 31st. When I wrote about the Aquarius New Moon back in January (A Call to the Service of Humanity) I was inspired. I could see then how that New Moon astrology chart was directly connected to larger Aquarian energies, and would overlap with our current Aquarius Full Moon.
 
Over the past six months, from the Aquarius New Moon in January until our current Aquarius Full Moon, there has been a definite momentum shift in the energies of the world. The description is not easy to quickly synthesize but we are all aware of how much the world is changing at a rapid rate. The Lunar cycles of the past six months have created momentum that supports the rapid change we’re seeing in the world today.

Our Leo New Moon is generating the potential to live life on your own terms, with the freedom to fully express your individuality regardless of external pressures. The New Moon chart indicates new insights and new willpower to honor your personal choices and to live the life you choose, without the fear of others disapproving of your outlook on life.

Our Full Moon in Capricorn holds a tremendous of power that each person can use to leverage their personal potential for a better life. Each Lunar cycle is a unique formula for success. The Lunar cycle starts with the release of a new impulse (New Moon) that benefits all of humanity.
 
The recent Cancer New Moon released an impulse of a new paradigm of individuality, showing us how to balance between the old and the new. (Cancer New Moon: The Point Between What Was and What’s to Come). Now, at the Full Moon we are at the midpoint of the Lunar cycle. The Full Moon illuminates and activates new awareness. This a time when each person must realize and put into practice the newly released energy of the current cycle.

Our Cancer New Moon represents a balancing point between the past and the future, and the opportunity for a new direction in life based on what inspires you. The New Moon follows last week’s  summer solstice. This combination sets the stage for a shift in the overall astrological energies of the year. With this shift, we are all heading into an uncharted territory of new potential in which self-determination and the power of choice will be a premium quality to possess.
 
The June 21st solstice ushered in a heightened awareness of the importance of individuality, with the need to re-balance one’s relationship between selfhood and the larger collective. This quality of self-correction addresses the current cultural imbalances, setting to right the collective’s attempts to control our world by seizing and holding more power and influence than is warranted.

Our Gemini New Moon is bringing into play a new level of contrast, both personal and global, through the focus of opportunity, contrast and challenge. This is an extraordinary period of time. The potential challenges that lie ahead cannot be underestimated and may have unexpected impacts on our lives.
 
This Lunar cycle is an important time in which to discover a greater personal commitment to life. This new level of commitment includes your ability to focus on what, and where and with whom you’re willing to place your trust.
 
As individuals, we can off-set any unexpected events and disruptive influences by seeking supportive relationships and environments, especially those that reaffirm your individualized worth.
