Aquarian Age Update
Imagine a world where your experiences and actions didn’t require any thoughts. Instead of thinking, imagine a high-frequency state of being in which you simply know what to do, where to go, and how to make choices without ever accessing memories of the past. Great mystics have spoken about their consciousness in terms of this type of knowingness, and an elevated state of energized awareness. For these amazing individuals, life is about moving forward, never looking back, and always living in the moment.
Most people can’t imagine a world where this type of consciousness is possible. Because these high-frequency individuals didn’t use their mind-energy, they didn’t need to relive their past traumas, past hurts, betrayals, losses, or pain. They knew that the creative spark of spirit was only active in the moment, so they would spend their life-force in the eternal now, never rehashing old information that held no true creative energy. Words could never accurately render the richness of living through heart energy and inspiration, so they simply called this state of being in the present “peace energy.”
We are now coming to a point in the new Aquarian Age where what was only possible for a gifted mystic can be an everyday experience for each one of us. We are now beginning to recognize the difference between mind energy and heart energy. The most common limitation you and I are facing today is the misunderstanding of how mind energy works, and how it’s our minds that hold us back from experiencing these higher frequencies of consciousness and our highest potential.
Mind energy includes the toxic energy of data, information, social programming, artificial intelligence, and every unwanted emotion and thought you have ever had. It also includes our memories, especially those associated with traumatic events. These forms of mind energy are toxic because they prevent us from accessing creativity and our heart energy in the present moment.
One of the astrological breakthroughs in the Aquarian Age is a new understanding of just how toxic mind-energy is to our spiritual development. Astrology can help us solve the mind energy problem by offering a deeper understanding of the moon’s connection to the mind. One of the key concepts that many Aquarian Age light-beings are catching on to is how the information trap of the mind is energized by the shadow energies of the moon. As we examine the relationship between the moon and mind-energy, we have come to realize that the moon isn’t the friend we once thought it was.
As we move forward into the Aquarian Age, we are learning to live in our heart energy and let go of the traps of mind-energy that have been slowing us down. The more we can live by inspiration, release the past, and stay in the present moment, the easier our transition will be to this new high-frequency state of being.
The Taurus and Scorpio Polarity: Letting Go of Constraints
One of the themes that runs between the Taurus-Scorpio (earth-water) polarity is the feeling capability that is held within each sign. When we combine the ability to feel nature’s energetics (Taurus) with the ability to choose our emotions in the moment (Scorpio), we are then free to let go of our past and present constraints and be more authentic to our true nature.
The qualities of Taurus that are currently being activated include: Living in the present moment; feeling the value of freedom; integrating the capacity to let go, including the past; honoring what has true value in the long run; establishing an inner foundation of truth and resisting false premise; and understanding the significance of social bonds.
Taurus shadow qualities include: Glorifying the past; getting lost in memories; stubbornness; selfishness; subservience to culture, race, and tradition; and falling for the fallacies of traditional beliefs, including religion and death.
The qualities of Scorpio that are currently being activated include: Emotional stability; the passion for authentic connections; the rejection of institutionalized power and control; appreciation for the shared unity of outcome and goals; ability to block emotional manipulation; resisting collectivism; and feeling the balanced energetics of nature.
Scorpio shadow qualities include: Lacking awareness of one’s inherent psychic abilities; indiscriminately feeling and hanging on to other people’s energies; emotional manipulation; feeling worn down by larger societal pressures; controlling and abusing others; and giving in to the pressure of the group.
Taurus Sun: Developing Strength of Character
Our Sun provides great strength to the natural qualities of character that are found in the prime energy of Taurus. All earth sign energies build character, but in Taurus the tangible qualities of nature’s strength are readily available. Taurus has a unique ability to organically connect to Nature’s power. This manifests as the quality of love that is held within nature, enabling us to energetically inhabit our bodies (Venus).
The Sabian archetype for our Sun at 5° Taurus describes this quality of embodied character as someone who has learned to release the past.
☉ — 5° TAURUS — A WIDOW AT AN OPEN GRAVE
THEME: RELEASING THE PAST
ARCHETYPE: Peering through the illusions of time and space and entering the eternal now.
COMMENTARY: Nothing is ever truly lost. In the now’s ultimate form, Source energy flows not from a void, but from the ever-expanding experience of Light and creation that has no beginning or end. Once we release the cultural attachment to the past, including belief systems that tie us to fallacies of death and religion, we are able to freely engage in the eternal present moment. Releasing attachment to the past energizes a new understanding of the temporary nature of our circumstances, including social bonds, and the beginnings and endings of relationships. The present moment contains all the cycles of creation and encompasses all that was, all there is, and all there will ever be.
This archetype explains the nature of loss through the lens of the present moment. The widow represents an experience of loss, however she stands at an empty grave, symbolizing the presence of consciousness and new creation. We are encouraged to release attachments to past events or people that are gone.
Hanging on to the past only intensifies the toxic feeling that we should be focusing on the past, living in memories, and thinking about various traumas we have experienced. The reason that focusing on the past is so dangerous for a light being is that this prevents access to the eternal moment where creativity is generated, peace energy resides, and the conscious gateway of knowledge is ever present.
This archetype illuminates the importance of living in the eternal moment, with the understanding that the past is simply an illusion that no longer exists. This illusion of the past is tied to our belief in concepts of time and space. Time and space only exist in our 3D world, and not in the higher frequencies of the eternal now where our spirits reside.
The power of the moment is naturally expressed in a very beautiful way in many individuals who hold Taurus qualities. These are people who easily connect to the energetics of nature and use these energies to stay in the present moment. This is especially true for those people who are able to let go of the past and express their creativity, which only occurs in the moment and never the past.
Lessons from the Scorpio Moon: Choosing Emotional Stability
Our Sabian for 5° Scorpio brings into focus the importance of developing emotional stability. The lunar shadow of instability is countered with stability when we realize what to resist, and what needs to be released.
☽ — 5° SCORPIO — A MASSIVE ROCKY SHORE RESISTS THE POUNDING OF THE SEA
THEME: EMOTIONAL STABILITY
ARCHETYPE: The ability to resist the relentless momentum of institutionalized power and control.
COMMENTARY: The detrimental power of cultural control leads to emotional overwhelm when institutions take on the role of providing the meaning and context of events and outcomes for the people. We the people have the ability to resist all forms of cultural manipulation by recognizing our unified power to oppose all forms of abuse and control. The staying power of freedom can be seen as a massive rocky shore that remains steadfast. Conversely, the power of collective institutionalism poses a significant threat to freedom and sovereignty if we, as a people, yield to the inertia of collectivism.
This archetype presents some very important insights on the power of collectivism and cultural control. Collectivism is the dangerous concept of controlling the individual through a group mentality that emphasizes the superiority of group needs over individual rights and freedoms. These influences have been on the rise ever since Neptune entered Pisces in 2012.
Pursuing emotional freedom as it’s presented here in the context of the rocky shore is a powerful antidote to collectivism. Scorpio’s inner stability gives you the freedom to choose your own emotions without social programming telling you how you should feel or what you should believe. The freedom of emotional choice is an antidote to feeling overwhelmed or manipulated by collective emotions and expectations.
This archetype exposes the shadow of our emotions through the relentless pounding of the sea (the collective). Because of our inherent psychic abilities, we are always experiencing the emotions of the collective without knowing it. We mistakenly assume we are experiencing our own emotions, when in reality, we are all psychically connected in ways that are just now coming to light.
Emotional stability (the rocky shore) requires that we learn to recognize our inner power (Scorpio). In this way we are able to resist the power of collective emotions and let go of the need to conform to group ideology.
The Rocky Shore of Emotional Stability
There is a striking intensity and complexity contained within our two archetypes. Both of them address different types of freedom and the letting go of constraints that impact our emotional stability.
Both archetypes require a choice. In the open grave we are encouraged to release the influences of the past in favor of choosing the present moment. At the rocky shore we are encouraged to choose personal freedom as a way to resist the intensity of collective emotions.
These Taurus-Scorpio energies work together. From a practical perspective, the more we can stay in the present moment (Taurus), the greater the degree of freedom and emotional stability we will experience (Scorpio). Living in the present moment enables us to transcend the mind energy of the past, and helps us heal all of the pain, trauma, anxiety, guilt, and disappointment we carry in our emotional bodies.
Mind energy is always based on something that has happened in the past. The more we move from our heads to our hearts, the more we are able to stay in the creative energies of the present moment. In this way we develop the capacity to resist the collective emotional overwhelm and manipulation that is prevalent in the cultural psyche of our world.
When we realize that every form of collective emotion we encounter has occurred in the past, then we can more easily withstand the intensity of the waves. In this way our capacity and resolve to hold on to the strength and stability of our personal freedom becomes as powerful as a massive rocky shore.
Summary
Learning to recognize and let go of all types of constraints centers around staying in the moment, not focusing on the past (Taurus), and choosing personal freedom. The Scorpio quality of letting go leads to a new quality of emotional stability and inner freedom that resists the intensity and pounding of emotional overwhelm and institutionalized control and collectivism.
We are at an energetic turning point in our Aquarian Age shift. We are learning the importance of the eternal now and how we as true individuals can resist all controlling influences that seek to distract us from our highest potential.
In the Moment,
Steven Shroyer
